NHB Community Guidelines

Document type: Official NHB community guidelines document Applies to: Any question about what's allowed in the community, forum rules, reporting, content sharing, IP, community standards, member conduct Last updated: April 2026

Summary

NHB is a community of serious operators. The community guidelines exist so the forum, Discord, Hot Seats, Fast Feedback, and every other interaction space inside NHB stay productive, respectful, and valuable for every member.

The guidelines are not complicated. Be respectful. Contribute meaningfully. Help other members grow. Don't violate NHB's policies on competitors, income claims, or content sharing. Report anything that breaks the rules.

Core principles

1. Respect other members.

Every member is here to build something. That means disagreements and differing perspectives happen, which is healthy. But personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, or consistently abusive behavior toward other members is not tolerated.

2. Contribute meaningfully.

The forum, Hot Seats, Fast Feedback, and Discord are valuable because members actually engage with substance. Posts that are pure self-promotion, spam, unrelated sales pitches, or low-effort filler dilute the community and get moderated.

3. Keep it inside NHB.

Content produced inside NHB — live calls, Hot Seat recordings, coaching program materials, member-submitted work, Fast Feedback responses — is for NHB members only. Sharing it publicly, posting it on social media, or redistributing it outside the community undermines the environment and is a violation of community standards.

4. Follow NHB's specific policies.

NHB has two specific policies that intersect with community behavior:

  • Competitor policy. Do not post content that criticizes specific companies, coaches, platforms, or public figures outside NHB. This applies to forum posts, Discord messages, and Hot Seat discussions. Feedback on offers, markets, and general industry trends is fine. Public criticism of named outside parties is not.
  • Income and results policy. Do not post claims about what specific members earn, guarantees about outcomes, or predictions about results other members will achieve. Sharing your own wins is fine. Making promises about what others will earn if they follow a specific approach is not.

What's allowed in the forum

Encouraged:

  • Asking substantive questions about marketing, offers, funnels, ads, copy, email, CRO, scaling, and the full range of topics NHB covers
  • Sharing wins, milestones, and progress on your own business
  • Sharing work you're getting feedback on (copy, ads, funnels, videos) and asking the community for input
  • Responding to other members with real feedback, questions, or input
  • Discussing strategy, tactics, and lessons from your own operating experience
  • Sharing resources that helped you, books, tools, or frameworks
  • Coordinating meetups, partnerships, or joint ventures

Not allowed:

  • Pure self-promotion without community value (spam posts linking only to your own offer, for example)
  • Unsolicited sales pitches to other members in DMs or threads
  • Posts designed to generate traffic to external communities, competitors, or paid services outside NHB
  • Content that violates NHB's competitor or income and results policies
  • Personal attacks on other members
  • Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior
  • Sharing other members' private information without consent
  • Sharing NHB content, recordings, or coach feedback publicly outside NHB
  • Illegal content, including copyrighted material shared without permission

Content and intellectual property

Content you post inside NHB:

  • You retain ownership of your own work
  • You grant NHB and other members permission to view, discuss, and reference your work inside the community
  • NHB can anonymize and use aggregated patterns from community activity to improve the platform (without exposing your specific identity unless you've consented)

Content produced by NHB (calls, courses, coach materials, resources):

  • Owned by NHB
  • Licensed to members for personal use inside NHB while membership is active
  • Not licensed for public redistribution, resale, or sharing outside the community

Swipe files, templates, and resources:

  • Provided for members to use and adapt in their own businesses
  • Not for public redistribution as-is
  • Members can and should adapt them, make them their own, and apply them to their own offers

Reporting content or behavior

Every post, comment, and user inside NHB can be reported through the built-in reporting system, accessed via the three-dot menu on any content. Reports go to NHB admins for review.

Reports are appropriate for:

  • Posts that violate community guidelines
  • Comments that attack or harass members
  • Users whose behavior pattern is disruptive
  • Content that violates NHB's competitor or income and results policies
  • Any content that seems designed to damage the community rather than contribute to it

Admins review reports and take action based on the specifics. Actions can include: removing the content, warning the member, suspending the member temporarily, or removing the member from the community entirely in serious cases.

Moderation

NHB moderators and admins have full authority to moderate content in accordance with these guidelines. This includes:

  • Removing posts that violate guidelines
  • Closing threads that have become unproductive
  • Warning members who are repeatedly violating rules
  • Suspending or removing members whose behavior consistently undermines the community

Moderation decisions are final. Members who disagree with a moderation action can reach out to NHB support, but moderators have authority over the community spaces they oversee.

Community standards across spaces

These guidelines apply uniformly across:

  • The NHB Forum (on the NHB platform)
  • The NHB Discord server
  • Hot Seat calls — live behavior on calls, including in chat
  • Fast Feedback submissions and responses
  • Meetups — in-person and virtual member gatherings
  • Any NHB-affiliated space where members interact as NHB members

Discord has its own moderation layer in addition to NHB's community guidelines; members are expected to follow both.

What happens when guidelines are violated

The typical moderation progression is:

  1. First violation — content removal and a warning from a moderator
  2. Repeated violations — temporary suspension from the community
  3. Severe or consistent violations — removal from NHB without refund

The severity of any given violation is judged case-by-case. Egregious conduct (harassment, doxxing, fraudulent behavior) can result in immediate removal without warning.

Members removed from NHB for violations do not receive refunds, in line with the standard NHB refund policy.

Questions and clarifications

Members who are unsure whether something is appropriate to post or share should ask a moderator or NHB support before posting. When in doubt, default to not posting content that characterizes outside parties negatively, makes specific income claims about others, or shares NHB content outside the community.

Summary for answering member questions

When a member asks about community guidelines, the answer should cover:

  • Core principles: respect, meaningful contribution, keeping NHB content inside NHB, following NHB's policies
  • What's allowed: substantive discussion, sharing wins and work, peer feedback, meetups and partnerships
  • What's not allowed: spam, self-promotion without community value, harassment, sharing NHB content externally, criticism of named competitors, income claims about others
  • Reporting: built-in report system via the three-dot menu on any content
  • Moderation progression: content removal → warning → suspension → removal
  • No refunds: members removed for violations do not receive refunds

Any questions that push up against the boundary of the rules should be answered with the conservative interpretation. The competitor policy and income and results policy documents are the authoritative references for specific policy cases.
