Fast Feedback

Document type: Official NHB platform feature document Applies to: Any question about Fast Feedback — what it is, how to use it, who has access, how submissions work, how coaches reply, quota limits Last updated: April 2026

Summary

Fast Feedback (FF) is the NHB feature where members submit their work — copy, offers, funnels, ads, videos, anything they are actively building — and get direct, personalized feedback from a coach, typically delivered as a Loom video response. It is one of the most-used features in the NHB ecosystem because it turns learning into execution by closing the gap between what a member is studying and what they are actually shipping.

Fast Feedback is available on the NHB platform at the /fast-feedback page.

Who has access

Fast Feedback access is tiered by membership level:

  • Fast Forward members — unlimited submissions to Alen as their assigned coach
  • NHB Pro members — can submit to any available coach, with a limit of 1 submission per coach per calendar month
  • NHB Pro members with a Coaching Program subscription — get an additional 2 submissions per week to their program coach (separate from and on top of the Pro monthly quota)
  • NHB Free (NHB) members — no access to Fast Feedback
  • Plus members (legacy tier, no longer offered) — historically had no submission access

Alen is available as a coach for Fast Forward members only. Pro members who want access to Alen's feedback see an upgrade prompt inviting them to join Fast Forward.

How it works

The submission flow for current Fast Feedback uses Google Docs rather than a long in-app form. A member:

  1. Goes to the /fast-feedback page and clicks Get Feedback.
  2. Selects the coach they want feedback from (Fast Forward members are pre-assigned Alen).
  3. Provides a Google Doc link containing their question, context, and whatever work they want reviewed.
  4. Chooses whether the submission should be Public (visible to all Fast Forward members in the feed) or Private (only visible to the member and their coach).
  5. Submits.

The coach then reviews the Google Doc on their own schedule and records a response. The recommended response format is a Loom video — the reply input on the coach side is explicitly labeled "Most coaches reply with video." Coaches can also leave text notes when useful.

When the coach submits their response, the member receives both an in-app notification and an email with the subject "Fast Feedback reply."

Submission quotas

Fast Forward members have no submission limit. They submit to Alen as often as they want.

NHB Pro members are limited to 1 submission per coach per calendar month. The quota resets at the start of each new calendar month. If a member has already submitted to Coach X this month, the submit button for Coach X is disabled with a message showing "You've reached your monthly submission limit to [Coach]." The member can still submit to other coaches that same month.

NHB Pro + Coaching Program members get a separate 2 submissions per week quota to their program coach, calculated Monday through Sunday. This is independent from the monthly Pro quota — submissions to the program coach count only against the weekly program quota, and submissions to other coaches count only against the monthly Pro quota.

Public vs Private submissions

When submitting, members choose Public or Private:

  • Public — the submission and the coach's response are visible to all Fast Forward members in the shared Fast Feedback feed. Other members can learn from the review.
  • Private — only the submitter and the assigned coach can see the submission and response. Useful for sensitive business details.

Private submissions do not appear in the public feed. The content is protected by privacy rules at the data layer, not just hidden in the interface.

The Fast Feedback feed

Fast Forward and Pro members can browse the public Fast Feedback feed on the /fast-feedback page. The feed has five tabs:

  • Discover — every public submission across the entire community
  • Search — full-text search across indexed submissions
  • Bookmarked — submissions the member has saved to come back to
  • Unread — public submissions the member has not yet opened
  • My Fast Feedback — the member's own submissions, both public and private

Members can filter the feed by coach and by category, and use pagination to browse through older submissions.

Where to find it

  • Main page/fast-feedback on the NHB platform
  • Navigation — look for Fast Feedback in the main NHB sidebar

Coaches access the admin side of Fast Feedback through the admin panel, which is not visible to regular members.

  • Hot Seats — live call version of personalized coach feedback, where a member's work is discussed in real time in front of the community. Complements Fast Feedback, which is asynchronous.
  • Coaching Programs — members enrolled in a program get additional FF quota with their program coach beyond the base Pro allocation.
  • Forum — members can also share work and get peer feedback in the forum, though the forum is peer-to-peer, not coach-delivered.

Summary for answering member questions

When a member asks about Fast Feedback, the answer should cover:

  • What it is: direct coach feedback on the member's work, usually as a Loom video response
  • Who has access: Fast Forward (unlimited, Alen), Pro (1/coach/month, any coach except Alen), Pro + Coaching Program (additional 2/week to program coach)
  • How to submit: Google Doc link on /fast-feedback, select coach, choose Public or Private
  • How coaches respond: typically a Loom video, delivered when the coach reviews the doc
  • When it arrives: no guaranteed turnaround — members get a notification and email when the coach responds
  • How to see others' feedback: the Discover tab on /fast-feedback shows all public submissions

Any questions about how quickly a coach will respond, whether a member will get specific revenue results from applying feedback, or comparison to other platforms' feedback features should follow the NHB income and results policy and competitor policy respectively.
