Live Calls¶

Summary¶

Live calls are scheduled video sessions hosted by Alen, the coaching team, and guest speakers. They are where most of the real-time teaching inside NHB happens — the place members get new ideas first, work through them together, and connect directly with the coaches.

Every live call runs on Zoom. Every call is recorded. All recordings are stored in the NHB Library and searchable for on-demand replay after the call ends.

The NHB Live Call Schedule¶

NHB runs live calls every weekday. All times are Eastern Time (EST).

Monday

Monthly NHB Pro Hot Seat rotation¶

Once every four weeks, each coach's regular weekly training call is replaced by a dedicated Monthly NHB Pro Hot Seat call. On these weeks, NHB Pro members can request to be in the hot seat and work through their business live with that coach. This gives every NHB Pro member access to hot-seat-style coaching from the full coaching team over a rolling monthly cycle.

Alen runs his own Monthly NHB Pro Hot Seat on the first Thursday of each month, replacing the regular NHB Theory call that week.

Types of live calls¶

NHB has several categories of live calls:

NHB Coaching Calls — weekly training calls run by each coach on their specialty area. These are the core weekly teaching sessions and are open to NHB Pro members.
NHB Theory — Alen's weekly deep-teaching call covering NHB's core marketing and business thinking. Open to NHB Pro members.
FF Theory and FF Hot Seats — Alen's dedicated calls for Fast Forward members only, covering tactical and strategic depth at the mastery level.
Coaching Program Hot Seats — weekly private Hot Seat sessions for each coaching program. Restricted to members enrolled in that specific program.
NHB Pro Hot Seats — monthly rotation where each coach does a dedicated Hot Seat call for NHB Pro members.
Guest Calls — appearances from outside experts, practitioners, and top operators sharing what they are seeing in their businesses.

Who can attend which calls¶

Access depends on membership level and coaching program enrollment:

Fast Forward members — full access: FF Theory, FF Hot Seats, every NHB Coaching Call, every NHB Theory call, and any coaching program sessions they have subscribed to
NHB Pro members — every NHB Coaching Call, NHB Theory, and Monthly NHB Pro Hot Seats. Private Coaching Program Hot Seats require enrollment in that specific coaching program.
NHB Pro + Coaching Program members — everything above plus the weekly private Hot Seat for their enrolled program
Free (NHB) members — no access to live calls

How to attend a live call¶

Upcoming calls appear in the Live Calls feed on the NHB platform, grouped by time:

This Week — calls happening in the next 7 days
Next Week — calls 8 to 14 days out
Upcoming — calls further out, expandable with Load More

Each call card shows the date, time, host, and an Attend button to add the call to the member's attendance list. Zoom links are shared on the call card or through the platform shortly before the call begins.

When a member marks themselves as attending, they show up in the attendee list on that specific call. Each call has its own Zoom link, which is visible on the call detail page.

Call recordings¶

Every live call is recorded. Recordings typically become available in the NHB Library shortly after the call ends, along with:

The Zoom recording (playable in-app)
An audio-only version
A transcript
A summary (short and long form, where prepared)
Any Google Doc resources shared during the call

Past live call recordings can be found in the NHB Library, searchable by coach, topic, date, and content type.

Where to find Live Calls¶

Main page — the Live Calls page on the NHB platform
Library — all past call recordings live in the NHB Library for on-demand replay
Individual coach pages — each coaching program page also shows the upcoming and past calls for that program
Home dashboard — recent and upcoming calls surface in the home feed

Hot Seats — a specific format of live call where a member's business is worked on in real time
Library — archive of all past call recordings
Fast Feedback — asynchronous alternative to live coaching, delivered as recorded video feedback

Summary for answering member questions¶

When a member asks about live calls, the answer should cover:

The weekly schedule by day and time, with host and program
Which tier is required to attend each type of call (NHB Pro, Fast Forward, or specific Coaching Program)
How to attend: go to the Live Calls page, click into a call, get the Zoom link
What happens after: every call is recorded and lands in the Library
How Monthly NHB Pro Hot Seats work: each coach runs one per month, replacing their regular weekly call that week
That FF Theory and FF Hot Seats are for Fast Forward members only — Pro members do not have access to those
